Hi all

I have a client who has a Cisco 2600 router. There ISP has asked us to replace the router with another 2600 and have sent this to me in post. The only difference being that the new router has a bri0/0 interface card installed for ISDN backup. Apart from the IOS being a later version the config is identical to the old router. I have full access to both routers.

I switched the routers as requested, but i'm having problems getting eth0/0 to come up. If i do a constant ping on eth0/0 when i make the switch i get between 10-20 replies and then it goes down. To test this i just plugged eth0/0 into LAN and i got constant ping, but as soon as i plug serial0/0 in then eth0/0 goes down.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Here is the config for the new router:
