I have a Cisco 2612 router which operates in a sandbox environment. The issue is that when booted it gives the following error message...

*** System received a SegV exception ***
signal= 0xb, code= 0x100, context= 0x8148f6e8
PC = 0x80d7560c, Vector = 0x100, SP = 0x815625a0

Any idea of why or how to recover from this error which causes the router to loop in the boot process, never reaching the User prompt. Cisco documentation says there's no fix.

If memory serves, this is caused by an issue with the IOS. An IOS upgrade should rectify the problem.
