We employ 2 Cisco 2511 routers as our dial-up routers. Our users always complain of slow response. Recently I found out one command to check the status of the lines. I use the "sho line" command to check it out.
The result is this:
Tty Typ Tx/Rx A Modem Roty AccO AccI Uses Noise Overruns

Can somebody tell where does that noise comes from ? Is it from our carrier or is it our modems or is it the interfaces ??
Hope someone gives an explanation
regards
