Hi
Completely new to cisco routers but due to disaster recovery situation, a leased line connecting two offices for data has had it's B end moved. Unfortunately router for the B end is dead and BT have supplied a new one but won't or can't configure it despite them doing so originally 3 years back.
So can I simply copy the config from the A end 1721, change ip addresses and hostname and then copy the new config file to the new B end 1721?
Unfortunately also at the A end a new Sonicwall (for internet/mail) has been installed with the same ip (192.168.2.254) as the A end 1721. Simply changing the ip on the A end cisco (maybe to 192.168.3.254) and correspondingly on the B end cisco should not conflict?
Thank you in advance.
