cisco 1720 resets

why would a cisco 1720 reset when the backup ISDN circuit comes up ?

If you have alot of debug commands running, the added CPU usage may be causing the reset.  Otherwise, it sounds like it may be a software bug.  Try upgrading the code, or at least check Cisco's web site to check your software revision for bugs.
