I got a 1603 ISDN Router, and set it up. The connection to the ISP works when I open a DOS prompt and do a ping whatever ip address. But when I open IE, no connection is made. The ip address of the router is 169.105.103.110 and I put it as default gateway on my PC with ip address 169.105.103.115. Subnet 255.255.0.0
Can somebody help me ?

No i don't have a DNS server, but have can I fix the problem with 1 PC running W98. I activate dns, but the PCs Hostname and what domain name should I put in ?

You need a DNS server in the config of the client.. your ISP should provide it ( an IP) or you can get an IP of many off internet. A quick test would to be put an name and IP for something like Google into the host file and see if IE can find that one site by name. If yes, then the name resolution is not working for some reason.
