Hi,
I hope I'm posting in the right forum. I looked for something about access points but didn't have any luck. So on to the question.
We just purchased a Cisco 1261 standalone access point to replace an aging Cisco 1231. The 1261 is stated to handle 802.11b,g and n. When I go into the configuration for the radio, the data rates only list up to 54Mb/sec. That puts it at 802.11g rates. I think I'm misunderstanding something about how 802.11n is configured or how it functions in the 1261. Can someone enlighten me or point me in the right direction? I've already done the typical Google searches and read wikipedia.
Thanks for the help.
Tom
