I recently purchased a few Cisco 1200 Access Points on eBay and am unable to get them to communicate to a PC running HyperTerminal using the console port. I can communicate to them over the Ethernet port. Has anyone had similar problems? Is it possible the console ports were damaged by inserting an Ethernet cable, they do use RJ45 connectors?
