CIRYLLIC NOT SHOWN ON MAC IE BROWSER?

I using Macintosh OS9 but have problem to read ciryllic on webpages. When open insted of text to read have simbolls like this: ??????? ?????? ?????? Only images can see.
What's the problem and how to fix it?
