I have a series of services that will not start. Apparently, "circular dependencies" have developed. When I try to start one of these services I get: Error 1059: Circular service dependency was specified.

For example, the messenger service is dependent on the workstation service, and the workstation service is dependent on the messenger service.

There are several of these services, and I'm not sure how to proceed. Microsoft says "see your administrator." Ok, that's me.

How should I best go about sorting this out?

Remove one of the two dependancies :)

in Regedit, or with a 3p util.
