CIPT track - CCM 4.x vs. 6.x?

I had read that on the CCVP track, one can pursue the CIPT with either CCM 4.x or 6.x Is this true? I read Cisco's website, and it only says CIPT v4 and v6, but this isn't referring to Callmanager that I can see.

Can someone advise? Thanks.
