I've got a wierd issue I've not seen before. I have a customer that has a Cintech Cinphony I ACD system. They've ran into an issue where they're getting 99% disk full, and after a "process data" and "purge" it doesn't change...it remains 99% full.

Any ideas as to what's going on? Am I missing something or is there something more sinister coming?

TIA-

cintechllc.com should be able to answer that.
Is this a co-resident NAM or Cinphony only?

yes call cintech sound like logging is on and its either on for vm or cinphony ...who has been working on system logs dont turn on and set to max by themselves...

Can you guys tell me where the logs are located so I can see if that is what the problem is (huge file size) and delete them if so?

As far as I know, no one has touched anything to do with any system logging...if so, where would I check that to turn it off?

TIA for the help!

try going into the access directory thru os2 and delete *.log then see if it goes down on cinphony screen... you can go into access thru a 7310 and make sure logs are at a min size after you delete also purge back to a date that you dont need any more and reboot to see if it goes down

Thanks for the quick response. I'll give it a shot and see what happens!

Well, I didn't really find any thing of a large size in the access2 folder as far as logs go... I believe the largest one was about 500 bytes, and there were a total of maybe 20 or so logs.

I went in thru Access2 and all of the log settings there were turned off, so it doesn't appear to be a case of a "logs gone wild".

Any other ideas as to what it could be? The wierd thing is that with the disk showing 99% full on this co-resident system, it's affecting their voicemail functionality...ie they're getting "not enough room" errors when customers are leaving voicemails.

Arrrgggghhh!!!!

get vm manager and see if any mailboxes are way out of wack then get list from customer with all ext and valid mboxes and del rest
