Looking for information on CIM to Fiber converters. I need to extend 4 perbays across a street on a 200ICP. Has anyone done this and can suggest any hardware that might be availalbe?

not sure about 200ICP but on 3300 this is not possible. i think there is a distance limit on CIM of 1M or 2M cant remember.

It is possible on both systems using only fiber.

There are no CIM to Fiber converters. You would need to replace the modules in the Per Bays with fiber modules. Dual Fiber modules can be placed in the controller.

There are many distance ratings on the fiber hardware, they can accomodate up to 14Km.

Alternative thought, Have you considered using IP phones?

kwbMitel, if what you are saying is correct how to you connect fiber to a ASU II or similar that would normally connect to a CIM module? Or are you refering to using a per cab connected via fiber?
