Hi,
I'm mounting a windows share on my aix server with cifs option.
AIX 5.3 upd 4, windows 2003 server, command is:

mount -v cifs -n $TARGETHOST/$TARGETHOSTUSER/$TARGETHOSTPWD $TARGETHOSTDIR $TARGETDIR

When copying files from local disk to windows share files are truncated at 4 gb.
Is there a way to get over this limit?

Installed cifs packages are:
bos.cifs_fs.rte 5.3.0.40 COMMITTED Runtime for SMBFS
bos.cifs_fs.smit 5.3.0.0 COMMITTED SMIT Interface for SMBFS
bos.cifs_fs.rte 5.3.0.40 COMMITTED Runtime for SMBFS
bos.cifs_fs.smit 5.3.0.0 COMMITTED SMIT Interface for SMBFS

Thanks in advance.

Looks like IBM have a couple of open APARs with the same problem, but on 5.2

I checked with IBM and right now the 4 gb are a limit.

Thanks for your help.
