I need help in setting up QSIG and DCS on ISDN circuitfor CID. I need to deliver NAME as part of CID. The call comes in from nortel into a G3r V6 then delivered to a G3r V6 the delivered to final nortel. We send number no probelm but names does not follow.

You have to probably go Qsig on all nodes. DCS will only work between to 2 Avaya Products. However the Avayas will talk Qsig. I had the same issue and moved the Avayas to Qsig and I pass names and extensions between an Avaya and an Alcatel and even tandem between 2 Avayas to the Alcatels.

Thanks let me try it and see what happens. When changing to qsig will this disrupt the live traffic.

If the circuits are live now you have to translate new trunk groups. We built new and moved old to new. This gave us a backup option as we worked out the bugs. Below is the DS1 pack translations:

Do you have to set up a processor interface and communictions link for the new trunk group you are creating?

I dont't think so. You have to do some system parameters setting on the qsig page. There is a qsig extension and for the life of me I can't recall what it is for. I will check and post back.
