CICS with cordless set

Can anyone help explain this problem? I have a CICS with a regular cordless phone connected before the system. Problem is if I answer the cordless phoine, the system phones keep ringing about 2 more times, but if the system phones are answered,m everything works like it should, they all stop ringing when answered.
I have version 30CTE06, with 6.1 software.

That's normal if you connect a phone ahead of the system. The CICS has an internal ATA port. Connect the cordless phone to that port and that will take care of the ringing problem.
