CICS with 4.1 Caller ID issue

Fisrt question there is only 1 trunk card int the system and the Flash Card with the software on it.

Here is the problem I have tried almost every suggestion in here to turn on caller ID.

The caller ID works for all internal extensions. But i cannot get any set to display external linbe caller ID info.

IS this setup not capable of displaying the external caller ID ? If I diconnect the switch from the ecternal lines and hook up a analog set with caller ID caller ID works on the external line. Any help on this please.

Are you using a Call ID trunk card or just an LS/DS card. The LS/DS will not pass the information.

Make sure your card is a caller id card. It will say "CI" on it .
If, not, you will have to purchase one.
Once that is done, and your programming is set, you should be fine.

Ok;
it is a NNTM845579CI rev 02 mfr date 2000/06/05

So therefore should be CID capable.
