cics w/ flash voicemail light night service 1

When using F871 Night ringing and setting the ringing group to the first port of the Flash voicemail (VML voicemail light - no auto attendant) incoming calls hear " using the dialpad .... " but I'm not able to insert any messsage with the company name.
Any insight ?

Voicemail lite has no AA service. You'll need a keycode to upgrade to full auto attendant.

Try sending it to a MB not the VM DN.

With a setup like that some people have used the limited AA in the CICS
instead of upgrading the voicemail. I dont know how it turned out.

Can I send it to a MB ? The ringing group input is asking for a DN

Take a DN in that group and call forward no answer the phone after x rings to his mailbox, make his mailbox the company message user would leave a message.

Ironhorse is on the right track, if you don't need to answer a call at night....

Set up your night ringing service to include a "night ring answer phone".

Set up a voice mail box on the "night answer phone" and use F984 (call forward to voice mail) to toggle that phone when you leave at night an in the morning when you return.

Thet will send calls directly to voice mail without orrying about ring no answer timers.
