CICS Volume won't stay up

I have a customer with a CICS and 4.1 s/w
When I set the volume to set the stations volume still revert back to standard volume when you hang up. I have tried replacing the station, same results. Has anyone run into this before? Thanks.

Have you went into programming and set it to use set volume
instead of system volume?

Perhaps I diden't explain. I set the programing to use set not system. Thank you for your reply.

Check the age of the set. If it is an older one, they are not compatible with newer software. Try a newer set in the same port.

Does anyone know what rev of M series phones accepts the "use set volume" setting works with

If the set says Norstar and not Meridian it will work for sure. I some Meridian sets work, but I don't know at what vintage that started.
