Any one have a list of features when upgrading CICS software.
Customer is looking for caller ID for a second line when they are on a call.
ALSO
How would you respond to the following?
3 reception phones side by side.
3 lines, Customer would like to know what call they placed on hold so they don't pick up one of the other receptionists calls.
 
Train the receptionists to use "Feature"-Hold. Then only the one that places it on hold can retrieve it.
 
Feature Hold is a great tip for this one.
When used, on all other phones the lines will appear "solid" as if in use.

FAQ for "What Features are gained by each level of MICS upgrade":

It's for MICS but most will apply to CICS as well.
The FAQ does not mention 7.0 or 7.1 and the poster has not responded to update it.

In each Installers Guide search for "What's New" to see any new features or hardware changes.

CLID
Make sure to check under Sets/TecloFeatures and assign each line as CLID = Y
For PRI or SIP(BCM) users make sure of the above plus make sure you have 2 "Appearances" under LineAssignment/TargetLine and 2 Intercoms assigned.

Thank you. I had forgot about exclusive hold until I got home. Training the customer is a key, sometimes the request is impossible.
