CICS ports not showing 1

Hello!

I have a CICS 4.2 that I have recently purchased. After resetting the programming, I've run into the following problem:

Several of the phones are stuck in the flashing/initialize mode.

When checking Port/DN status, I get the following information...
P101: 221 to P108:228 as expected
Nothing for P109 to P116
P117: 229, P118: 230
It then moves on to lines.

For P101 to P108, the B2 shows DNs 231 to 238, and then P117: 239 and P118: 240.

Is there a way to get DNs 229 - 236 back to ports 109 - 116? At this point, losing programming isn't really a problem -- there isn't much done that I can't redo quickly. Thanks for your help!

Sounds like you have restricted software which only allows the first 4 lines and first 8 stations to work. Look at the label on the software card and see if it says restricted or 4x8. If so, the only fix is to purchase full software.

It may not say restricted, either. Later versions of 4x8 sw I installed were just followed by "R". Sounds like thats what you've got, though.
