CICS Mapping - Specifically MAPD

My company is currently trying to convert an ADSO system to CICS/DB2. One of the things we are investigating is moving the maps in IDMS to BMS/GT.

In my research I have found a RM MAP option of MAPD. No one here has ever heard of this. Does anyone know what this is?

Also is there anyone that might have done this type of conversion before and could give some help?
