CICS Line Setup Help Needed!!

Hello All

I have a Nortel CICS system and would like each of my 4 lines to ring individually. What happened is i had a tech here to do a job he claimed took 1.5 hours [at $100 an hour] come in. He changed the way incoming calls come in so we can no longer select individual lines, only the phone system handles what line is picked up when we make outgoing call and when calls com in. Well, after a week and paying $300 out of who knows what it would have cost me + loss of 1 weeks business] i kicked him out and told him i would not pay and additional. But i would love to revert my phones back to the way they were. I have a compact ICS with Callpilot. Just giving me any insight of the feature name or what this kind of call routing is called would help me at some capacity and any answers would be appreciated. Thanks all.
 
You should have placed this post in the Norstar Forum.

But it sounds like he changed all your lines from "public" to and added them into a "hunt group".
 
He has also probably placed your lines in a pool, most likely pool "A" Do you now have to press 9 to access a line.. if so you probably get line 4 first...If 4 is in use and you press 9 again do you get line 3 ? what you will need to do is call the phone company to take your lines out of the hunt group..ie: if line 1 is busy call will ring to line 2...ect. (that is not really a bad thing and you may want to keep that intact)
then you will need to go into each phone that you want lines to ring on... and under Line access/line assignment. Assign the lines you want on that patiicular phone to "Appear and ring"
