CICS line cards

Are all CI line cards compatible with all CICS systems? I tried swaping a line card but the new one would not come up.

Is the card in all the way or does the cards corners stop it from going all the way in?
What NT number is it?

Yes, any CI card is compatible with a CICS or MICS. As curlycord suggested it might not be properly seated. If it is then it is likely defective.

Thank you both. The card I tried is "Rel. 1". It was a good card removed from a defective CICS (clicking with flashing light). It could have gone bad with the CICS or I didn't have it seated properly.
If I get a chance I will try the card somewhere else.
