I have 2 CICS systems i bought back from clients. I have re installed both systems in the last week with New T series sets. Both systems have echo on the outside lines. By this I mean when you speak to an outside caller you hear yourself in the handset. If you lower the volume on the set it is better but it is an issue and the clients do notice it. I cant believe that 2 systems out of service would have the same issue. It is not a set issue and is not an issue on intercom calls.

By swapping the CLID card the problem is resolved. I notice the dip switches on the CLID card are all in one direction. Is there any suggestions to this issue??? The switches may of been wrong the entire time they were installed previous. I cant see this issue being un noticed on the old sites ???

How do you measure the current just put the meter across the line ???

Also is there a fix for this ???

You set the meter to measure current and put the leads in series with one side of the line. Go off-hook on that line to measure the current. Mike Sandman sells current limiters if the line is too hot. My experience is the dialtone provider won't do anything.
