CICS dial tone but no display

I have a CICS with 3 outside lines. At any desk set, if I press the bottom key (handsfree/mute), I get an outside dial tone. If I press either of the next two buttons above that (<ext> <name>), I get an inside dial tone. All three lines are set to "ring only" at every extension.How can I change that so all three buttons provide outside dial tone ?

The Prime Line feature automatically picks a line when the handset is lifted or when the Handsfree/Mute button is pressed. In this case, the Prime Line feature automatically picks an external line. This is why the Handsfree/Mute button provides external dial tone. The Prime Line of a set can be changed to pick an internal line or an external line. It can also be disabled.

The two buttons above are Intercom buttons. They always provide an internal dial tone. This behaviour cannot be changed, but the number of Intercom buttons can. Intercom buttons are needed to make internal calls, to make external calls (if the call do not appear on a line button) and to make page announcements.

What you ask can't be done. You might get better advices on how to set up the phones by sharing some use cases: what do users need to do with their phone?

Strange request, why would you want 3 buttons to do the same function....maybe that might help us with another solution.
i.e the user fingers are so fat that that it press's all 3 buttons.

You need toassign the lines to buttons on the phone, go to term&sets and make appear and ring. You will also still have the 2 intercom buttons too.
