my cics is having trouble on calls
We can hear callers they cant hear us.
It happens part of the time.
The caller id card has been replaced and att cant find the problem.

All lines effected or just some?
Copper lines or a converter on site?

How about moving lines 1 and 5 to 2 and 3 and see if the problem moves. If it does it's provider for sure, if it doesn't it's most likely the cics.

I was told att was out 5 times on it. No trouble found. I tested at DeMark and phones for 60 minutes no failures.
If it is still failing it is in the ksu or pots lines. It is unclear if it is only 1 and 5. 5 is the first pool a line so there are likely just using it alot.

This is why I asked in case a cabinet issue.
I would swap lines 1 & 2 and 5 & 6 since it's two cards involved.
The client needs to do their homework period and note what line they were on or grab.
