Hi,
My name is Robert, and I am a IT/IS Manger/Developer. I want to start developing some CICS applications for my business, but I haven't yet purchased CICS from IBM yet, because I don't want to make the investment, if I cannot develope the applications I need. So therefore, I need a beta copy or a demo copy of the CICS Server for Windows. If anyone can provide me a link or some other method of recieving this software, it would be greatly appreciated.

Can I write a CICS transaction which will go and update one of the CICS tables PPT, PCT etc.?
