I have a CICS 7.1 I am trying to set up the built in AA. When I do F*833 to do recordings it says "try later" Haven't seen this before, any thoughts appreciated.

Most likely it is not activated due to limited software edition.

Check your SP code under Maintenance then go here to see what exactly you have:

The SP:30DHC12 NAT On the card: CICS - SIP FC NT7B66EF
It looks to me that prompts are enabled.

Try making sure AA and/or CCR are ON first.
AA = F*831
CCR = F*832

Once they are ON maybe then F*833 (ADMIN) will be allowed

I probably should have said make sure those 2 are OFF not ON.
Try a reboot also if still an issue.

Changed s/w to a 4.0 I had laying around and all worked fine, changed it back to the 7.1 and got the same message again, must be the s/w card.
