CICS 8-Port Expansion Card Not recognized by system?????

Software level 4.0 , 8 port expansion not recognized when I am on the 66 block after the standard 16 ports. I am sure that the card is good but could the software need to be a higher release than 4.0. I am also looking on the same amphenol block the first 16 are on also.
I am not seeing it in the hardware profile in programming either.
any suggestions???

What software SP version do you have? it's in Maintenance.

Are you that what you installed is a Combo services card NTBB04GC and not a straight
services card NTBB04GD. The cards look the same but the services card does not add the 8 additional station ports.

Get the NT number from the white sticker on the card. Some were only clocking cards, others were both clocking and 8 additional digital stations. You also might have restricted software. Look at the sticker on the software card, or find the SP number for your software version as Curlycord suggested.
