I have a customer who swears she could do a "speed dial" then 77 and it worked. nothing changed except they got caller id and moved to a different office. Now she has to dial 077. Am I missing something? I always thought you have 001 thru 255 for system speed dial.
Am I wrong??

Until CICS 4.2, Speed Dial had two-digit codes: 01 to 70 for System Speed Dial and 71 to 94 for Personal Speed Dial.

Starting with CICS 6.0, Speed Dial has three-digit codes: 001 to 255 for System Speed Dial and 256 to 279 for User Speed Dial.

If your speed dials are set to take 3 digits then your system is programmed 001-255, you can change it back to being 2 digit 01-70 if the user wants it back to the way it was.
