cics 6.1 no ringing

Hey guys,

Got a customer that has a CICS with 6.1

The problem is the receps phone which is a m7324 with KLM. Incoming call will ring on line 1, next call coming it will not ring on line 2, line 3, or line 4. All lines on her set are ring & appear. The lines will flash for an incoming call on lines 2, 3, or 4 just will not ring. If I call line 2, 3, 4 directly the lines will ring. I have rebooted the cics and even replaced the ls/ds card. I have even replaced the m7324 phone still same ploblem.

If I change one of the office sets (T7316) for the lines to ring and appear. All the calls coming in will ring on one of the T7316.

Any thoughts.

do u have DND on busy set to yes ?
did u try switching the Ls/DS to the next slot?

was it the DND on busy?- it would be strange if it were, but you were not getting the same problem with 7316's.

If not, does it do the same thing when the KLM is not attached? (just something to test)

There is no DND to busy I did check that as well.

I did not try moving the CO card over to the other slot. The reason I did not do that was because If I dial any of the lines directly I do get them to ring. This issue only happens when they role over from line 1. I guess my next step is gonna be swapping out the cabinet and or software.

Try removing the CAP. I'm not at all sure that CAPs and 6.1+ are happy together. Also what release level is the M7324 and CAP? I've seen bugs in older than #16 release phones and 6.1.

is the problem specific to the TN ...
if you put the 7316 in the tn of the 7324 does it work propoerly?
