Noticed that there is a DN 38 in the CICS 6.1 that shows a 7208 set but indicates not in service. Have the Call Pilot 100 connected to DN 35&36 and the IATA to DN 37. Any way to get that DN to work without adding the pricey Combined Services Cartridge??

Without the add-on module, you are going to have 16 possible extension ports (with expanded software.)

you can number them whatever you want, but you cant get the 17th without the 0x8 module

You are reading either the IATA or the IRAD and I agree with bkrite you cannot get any more than 16 stations without the exp module.

I see. Was hoping that the IATA wasn't using one of the 16 and that it could be moved to DN38 with programming freeing DN37. I assume from your answers that is not possible. Thanks.

The IATA does not use any of the 16 physical ports it defaults as Station 37 (237) etc. It is a port that appears on the yel/slt pair of the trunk cable.
You can change the dn in programing to anything you like but you still have only 16 stations without the expansion module.

Thanks. I understand that it does not use a physical port but counts against the 16 allocated.

It does not count against the 16 ports, it is a seperate internal ata which has its own dn.
You have 21 thru 36 (16 dn's) and IATA dn #37.
I hope this is a little clearer.

Goodness! Don't tell my kids dad can't add. Thanks very much.
