Is it possible thru programming on a CICS to mask the clients line number they are calling from. Issue is the client calls to the USA and the number on the display shows their local number in Canada. They would rather show 800 # or no number at all??? The telco cant do anything to block the number ???

Which Telco?
With Bell press line and enter *67 then dial away.
You could hotline external the *67 if need but that will go for every call.

Carrier will not block number for 911 purpose', only Laywers, Abuse centers etc have that.

Thanks- So a bit more on the hotline for *67 I would program that in for every extension under hotline programing ??? what if they use handsfree it will not work correct???

The auto dial is if they use handsfree correct ???

If you mean routes?

Route 001 use Pool A, dial digits *67
Dest Code 9 told to use Route 001 (must remove 9 from Access/External/Pool Codes first)

Set dials 9 then number (when steady dial tone returned)

Like that?

So set up rout 001 for x67 code 9 use rout 1 take 9 out of pool a access. So the only thing I am not sure of is they access a line a normall and dial out or how will the rout work ??? They have 4 lines on all sets ??? is this automatic or do we still need some hotline programming ???

Your out of luck when they have lines assigned to the phone as pressing a line will bypass.

A trick for that is restrict all lines from all digits but allow *67 any.

I should mention also...
There is also ONN blocking, enter *67
Then program a F819 key.

I will stick to the first solution for this client...Thanks
