cics 4.2 TO 4.1

i RECENTLY REPLACED A cics IN A HURRY SINCE CLIENT WAS DOWN- HE HAD 4.2 AND I GAVE HIM 4.1. THEY HAVE A FLASH ON THE SYSTEM. THE 2 T7316 SETS HE HAS NO LONGER SHOW THE RED MESSAGE WAITING LIGHT. IS THIS BECAUSE 4.1 IS NOT GIVING THAT FEATURE???

i believe you need 6.1 for m/w lights to work.

One of latest of 4.1 out of 4 releases should work which works out to something like 4.1.1

6.1 is for the icons and hands free key

Right. Early releases of 4.1 don't light up T phones, but later revisions do.
