CICS 4.1 date/time

I have this system and the date and time has started to revert back several weeks. I have set it repeatedly from the config menu, but at some point reverts back.
Is this a sign of a failing system? I know it is old.

It has been many years since I have worked on Norstar systems, so I am very rusty.

I also know that some system feature codes do not work, such as: **797836 **79743
The config menu works **266344 as I have used it to change several DNs around.

Can the software be upgraded?

What was the date when it changed?. In the UK, the Nortars tended to revert back to 1st January 1993. That told me it lost all programming.
 
I just changed to current, then a call came in and it reverted to Jan 14, 2025 3:24 PM
It appears to be 23 days, 5 hours and 55 minutes behind todays date and time.
Does CLID pass time?

UPDATE: Our telco has an issue with their CLID card.
We have a second provider for our fax line. If i receive a call on that line the time is correct.

The provider has dispatched a technician to the local CO.

It now sounds as if your Telco's NTP has a fault. I would guess that it does pass on the time and date in the CLID details on incoming calls.

Those are for BCM, not Norstar.

Yes!
7.1 is the latest/last.
If upgrading a 4.1 live system then you need to upgrade to 6.1 first, then to 7.1

"Does CLID pass time?"
Yes! use Auto setting...
Under Feature Settings, choices for Norstar are Manual or Auto.
On the BCM its 3 choices and called Manual, Trunk or NTP (choose any time server IP)
