CICS 1.0 Restricted upgrade question

Hello everyone.....Can I put a 4.1 CICS Expanded software into a system that has a 1.0 restricted software. And if I can, will I loose all programming? Thaey also have a startalk flash 2 port voicemail system at 1.50 software.

Also, if I upgrade there CICS with a new cabinet with 7.1 software...will the startalk flash still work?

You will need to upgrade the Flash 2.0 or 2.1

Manual states you need an upgrade tool to 7.0


I suggest you re-program and start fresh since they are so far behind at 1.0.

You will lose ksu programming if you go up to 4.1 or above. As Curly said, vm software must upgrade, too.
