I came across a CICS 1.0 today where the customer wanted to use the auto attendant feature. I went into F*833 and recorded the Company Greeting ,the Caller Menu, and the Business Closed Greeting. When I called in to test it, it played the Company Greeting recording then a 'System' recording, NOT the Caller Menu recording.
( I assumed that Company Greeting = GRTG A, Caller Menu = GRTG C, Business Closed Greeting = GRTG B )

I went through F*833 and there was no option to turn off the 'System' recording as there is in the newer versions of the CICS.

Am I missing something or is this a glitch with the CICS 1.0 software?

Would Feature 831(AA on/off) or 832(CCR on/off) be of any help? I havent programmed one since it first came out with 1.0 .

I used F*832 to change it to Bus. Open and the calls were answered by the AA, but it played the system greeting, not the customized one.

Thanks for the info, but there weren't any GRTG A, B, C, D ,E, F options in F*833 on the CICS 1.0, just 'Company Greeting', 'Caller Menu', and 'Closed Greeting'.

I am just going to assume that personalized CCR menu recordings aren't available on a CICS 1.0 and see if they want to upgrade to CICS 4.2.
