I have a chrooted environment for Apache/PHP. All is well but gethostbyname, to the extent the small C program from segfaults. Outside of the chroot it works fine. Maybe some config file is missing for libresolv.so.2 but I can not find which one. I suspect this library because this is the last one opened in the strace log, though I can not see any failed system calls in this log. Debian, libc version 2.3.1-3.
