I'm currently working with a company that doesn't want to enter their tasks into Project using the chronological order. Was hoping some people could give me some reasons why you would want to enter your tasks in chronologically.
There is only one reason: you want to see a pretty picture "waterfall" schedule.
Usually they are entered in a dept-by-dept sequence because the development schedules (usually) come in at different times in an Excel spreadsheet (if you're lucky) and they get added to the Project schedule in that order.
