Chr(34) problems

I'm trying to use Chr(34) as a line break within a text field. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be working and the text is continuing. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I think chr(34) is "
If you want to do a line feed you can us vbCrLf

so "Hello" & vbCrLf & "There" will give you

Hello
