Hi there:
I would like users to be able to access a calendar so as to select a required by date.
My guess is something like Activex to open the calendar? But how do I get the selected date back to the field?
I have bought a book on Activesx and am none the wiser!

Thanks!

ActiveX isn't anything in and of itself.

It is a programming format, kinda. You create activeX objects, like you might a dll, and the activeX objects do things for you.

Kind of like a library in Paradox terms.

So, there is no way of knowing how to do anything with any particular activeX control. Each differs in the way it works.

However, GENERALLY a value would be stored in an activeX control in a PROPERTY of the control.

So, you need to figure out which control you will use (if you use an activeX control), and then read the info on that control to determine how to access its' info.
