Hi

When a user opens Chooser and clicks onto the Appleshare icon a list of available servers is displayed. I know how to connect to a none displayed server however how do I had a server name to the displayed list?

Thanks

This is due to networks. I guess you don't have a seed router on the network.

Manually go to every Mac - set the node to something unique for each Mac (set to the IP address which should also be unique and is then its easy to remember). Set the network ID to the same for all Macs - when its different that's when you get servers not showing up...

Or stick a seed router on the network. NT4 Servers can act as seed routers but every Mac gets a server failure notification if you restart the seed router.
