Choose report to run by user parameter(novice user)?

My problem:

I want to create a report that has a simple version and a detailed version, and I want it for the user to appear only as a choice when they run the report.

How can I make this in Oracle Reports 6i? Is it possible through the parameter form to do such a thing, or is there another smooth solution?
Do I create one report with two queries (simple + detailed) or do I create two diffrent reports?
