Choose field value from table in database?

Is it possible have a table in for example MS Access serve as the list of values that you can choose from in a Microsoft Project (preferebly Project 2003) field?

For example I would like to be able to fill a custom text field in MS Project with the name of a customer, by choosing from a customer name list provided by a table in an Access database.

If this is possible, can anyone point me in the proper direction for some additional reading if necessary?

Were you able to get the list values from Access database?
I am trying to do something similar but from Oracle. I have a linked server connection from Oracle to SQL server.

Any advice on how to do this is appreciated?
