chkdsk causes blue screen

When I turn on my computer - windows 200 professional - it runs a chkdsk /f but when it reaches 7% it blue sceens. if i skip the chkdsk it will load windows.

How can i fix the disk?

Does the blue screen have any details of why its failed?

You could try running chkdsk /p from recovery console -

The error message on the Blue Sceen is:

Multiple_IRP_Complete_Requests

I have tried a chkdsk /p from the recovery console and it worked fine. But the next time I schedulaed a chkdsk /f it blue screened.

What happened to your drive that windows wants to run chkdsk?
