Chit printer with to-go orders

I am having a problem getting chits to print for to-go orders with Aloha Table Service 6.7.

We have two bars in our operation. One of them has been recently converted into an open-air kitchen to cook pizzas. The chit printer in the area will print when a pizza is ordered, which starts the prep/cooking process. However, when a pizza is ordered to-go, a chit will not print. This is what happens at the second bar if an alcoholic drink happens to be ordered to-go, which we obviously do not do. I need a way for the converted pizza bar printer to print these to-go chits.

In addition, we have two Expo monitors on the line. Our primary expo screen exclusively has entrees. The 2nd expo screen will only display appetizers and to-go orders. When a pizza is ordered to-go, it does not go to the designated "to-go" monitor, it adds itself to the primary monitor. When a to-go order is placed with multiple items, say a burger and pizza, the order gets split. The burger will be on the to-go screen, while the pizza gets split to the entree screen. I have tried many things with no luck. I assume both of these issues are somehow related.

Thank you for any help.

Are you using aloha kitchen for your kitchen monitors? Are you using NAM for your Aloha Manager? Just trying to gather some more information. If you are using aloha kitchen you need to look at your routing rulebook which you can specify by order mode where items go rather than your item routing. I am looking into your printer issue right now.

for the togo printer routing you need to create a revenue center called "togo" then go into your order mode togo and make sure the revenue center under the order mode togo is set to togo revenue center. Then you can go into your event schedule and create an event called "reroute printer group by revenue center". That way when you ring in an order for togo it will automatically reroute to the correct printer. I believe you also have to setup a printer group called to go and add that to go printer into the printer group. Refresh and test.

To add to PosTech.

Check the order mode "To-GO" It may have a print group assigned that has no printers in it. This is usefull when you want orders to print when ordered normally but not for Togo.

The issue you are describing all items from the ToGo order mode. That is the place to start trouble shooting the issue.
