Hi,

My full backups are terminating with an exit status of 130, system error occurred. I am running the server (NBU 4.5 MP9) on Solaris 8 using a Fibre Channel attached Exabyte 221 LTO3 library. A couple of days into the backup, I get the message in email. The logs are of little help other than to provide:

"schild: child(ren) not ready to terminate"

from the bprd log. I am trying to back up a Fedora Core 5 hosted file system mounted to the backup server via NFS and all goes well for many hours, but then fails.

Any pointers to resources to fix this would be appreciated.

I can't say this will fix it but you could try increasing NFS_ACCESS_TIMEOUT in the bp.conf file
