I am in process of installing a new MICS. Current system has a numbering plan using 1,2,4,5,6 and 700 numbers.Since there were only 8 100 numbers I started DN numbers
at 200. The digit 3 is being used for the 300 numbers assigned by the system. These numbers are on non existing station modules. I suppose i can chg 300 to an unused
100 number, 301 also to a 100 number right down the line till I run out of 100 numbers to use. Then I can start on the 200 range till all 300 numbers are changed.

It just seems there is a better way. I tried to strong arm the user but she is cute.
If any one on this forum can offer any better way I greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,

RBT

The whole deal revolves around buisness cards with 3 digit numbers on them. I suppose that changing all of the 300's would probably take 30/45 min.
If I do not get some way to do it from forum I will just do that. To have a numbering plan like this is nuts.
Thanks

You can do a STARTUP AND SELECT 100 as the starting DN.

I have already entered key codes for PRI so I am reluctant to do startup. I guess I will just change all 300 numbers to something else.
Thanks

Don't forget if using a Call Pilot you have to adjust the NAME AND SPECIAL PREFIX for 100 range of DN's.

Thanks Telemarv, I do remember having this issue before now that you mention it. I think I must have used all my ram,

Have a great day

Telemarv, Would you mind sharing what I need to do to vm? I do not remember the details.
Thanks very much

What are all your digits used for?
i.e. we see from your posts that 1 and 2 are probably DN's but the rest your are not clear on at all.

"The digit 3 is being used for the 300 numbers assigned by the system"
What does that mean?
Do you mean to say 3 is used for DN's as well?.
