I just noticed on the log files that it is generating that it is skipping files that are to be backedup on my other servers. It never did that before. I am wondering how I get it to back up these directories?

Any help would be appreciated.....

Troy Williams B.Eng.
fenris@hotmail.com

If you have an Arcserve account logging on to NT make sure you have not inadvertenly changed the access privilages or administrator password ( your arcserve may use the admin password and rely on admin privilages to get access to other machines )

I will try that, thanks. Could it also be that it is the single server edition? I only started to work here a few months ago and that was the system in place to back up a couple of servers. I never scrutinized the logs that arcserve produces except the errors that occured from time to time. I just recently noticed that it decided to skip backing up the other servers. I don't know if it did that all along and the other person that set it up didn't know or if I screwed something up. If the single server edition doesn't backup the other servers then I will have to tell my boss that we have to order the advanced edition. BTW will the advanced edition install over top the single server edition without any problems?

Thanks
Troy Williams B.Eng.
fenris@hotmail.com
